Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse
Having worked in the tax office in beautiful Wales for many years, Terri felt a change was needed and Australia seemed like the perfect place. She moved here in 1995 and was able to commence pursuing a lifelong passion of working with animals.
Through the Brisbane Institute of TAFE, Terri completed her Kennel and Cattery Course and qualified as a RSPCA Dog Instructor. She began her veterinary nursing journey in 1996 and proudly obtained her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing in 2002. She enjoyed a career as vet nurse for quite a number of years before her work took her to the retail/product side of pet/vet care and for the past 10 years, has looked after pets and their owners in that capacity.
Terri joined the Northgate Vet and St Vincents Vets team in March 2017. Although reception, administration and customer service remain her main focus, she is never too busy to cuddle the patients who visit us.
Terri's hobbies include eating in, eating out and eating in-between. She's owned by 17 year old kitty cat Purdey (named after the Joanna Lumley character in The Avengers).
Terri is proud to announce that she has become an Australian Citizen and recently cage-dived with Great White Sharks. How exciting!
